Prices vary from store to store. At the two stores in my town, only one had it on clearance for $2.29; the other store it was regular price at $8.99.
VISINE is on sale for $3.99 through Aug 7, but from Aug 2 – 4, when you use the 15% Friends & Family coupon HERE it is only $3.39. You must present the F&F coupon at the start of the transaction.
Then, use the $2 off Visine coupon from the August coupon book (deducts $2)
And, use the $2 in ad coupon (will deduct $1.70 when combined with Friends & Family coupon).
What is overage? Overage happens when the stores have an item on sale for less than the amt of the coupons. Let’s say you buy 5 Visines and will get $1.55 in overage. You will need to pay $1.55 of goods to absorb the overage. Some cheap items this week are: 6 pack highlighters for $.19, pencil packs for $.09, and paper clips for $.29.

Walgreens-brand calcium soft chews (like the national brand Viactiv) are BOGO this week plus there is a $3 coupon in the July IVC coupon booklet (located near weekly ads in store). Here is what I bought today:

less the IVC coupon $3 x 8 = $24.00
less the 4 bags free $6.49 x 4 = $25.96 (automatically deducts from total)

Buy (2) Dr. Scholls for Her Hidden Arch Support $6.99
Less (2) $2 mfg coupon from HERE (you can print this coupon 4 times per computer)
Less $5 WAGS coupon from the JULY 2010 WALGREEN COUPON BOOK (coupon will deduct $5 twice)
Total will be $-.02 so you must get a filler item like a $.09 ruler or $.09 highlighter
REMEMBER – mfg. coupon must be scanned before store coupon!!
All you will have to pay is tax and you will get back a $5 Register Reward
July 18 – July 24
DENTYNE GUM is on sale for $.33 after Walgreens July coupon book with the Instant Value Coupons (IVC). The IVC book is normally located near the carts and weekly inserts. Here is how to do the deal, assuming you have 9 coupons (there were 2 in each insert).
Buy 14 Dentyne Gum = $9.24
Use 9 mfg coupons from 6.13.10 SS <$9.00>
Use IVC coupon <$4.62>
Your total will be a money maker of $4.38!!
YOU MUST PRESENT THE MFG COUPONS FIRST BEFORE USING THE IVC
So you have $4.38 in overage. What do you apply this to? How about CELCIUS 4 pks which also a $1 money maker after RR by using the $3 mfg coupon from 4.25.10 SS or 5.23.10SS. BLISTEX FRUIT SMOOTHIES are free after Register Reward (FARR). In addition to the gum I mention above, pick up one Celcius and Blistex. Your transaction will go like this:
14 packs Dentyne gum with 9 mfg coupons and IVC: <$4.38>
1 Celcius 4 pk $4.99, less $3 mfg coupon: $1.99
Blistex Smoothies: $2.99
Total: $.60
Then you get back $3 RR from Celcius and $3 RR from Blistex. That is a money maker of $5.40!!

Now that you have $14 in Register Rewards, you are probably wondering what to spend them on. Here are some suggestions for other RR starting June 20 HERE. When “rolling” your RRs into other RR, you need to have an equal amount of coupons and items at Walgreens and the RR count as a mfg coupon. Let’s say you are going to take 3 RRs and purchase 3 items next week, 2 of which you also have mfg coupons for like Renu and Herbal Essences. That means you now have 5 coupons and are buying 3 items, so you need to also purchase 3 small “filler” items such as clearance candy or pencils. Next week Hunts Tomato sauce is on sale for $.33 so that will make a great filler item.
